The tickets are purchased!!

I have just purchased the tickets to fly AND drive to Forks, Washington. According to www.mapquest.com, it will take 3 hours and 45 minutes to drive AFTER I get to the Seattle International Airport. Here is my itinerary:
June 24: Fly out of Nashville, TN at 7:30 am and arrive at Salt Lake City, Utah at 10:15. This will take 3 hours and 45 minutes. I change time zones, remember? I have a layover and then fly from Salt Lake City at 1:45pm and arrive at Seattle, Washington at 2:51pm. This is a 2 hour 6 minute flight. Sounds like a time zone thing again, doesn't it?
June 25 - 27: Have FUN in Forks!!
June 28: Fly out of Seattle at 1:05pm to St. Louis, Missouri. I will arrive there at 6:55pm. Sounds good huh? This will take 3 hours and 50 minutes. From St. Louis at 7:30, I will fly back to Nashville and HOPEFULLY make it back with luggage at 8:45pm.
WOW! Have you guys ever flown that much? I would love to hear all about it!
Thanks to all who did so much research for me during Directed Studies!!

It's Official!

Well, it is official! After much debate, rejection for funding, then convinced by the director and my husband, I am FINALLY an official presenter at the Summer School in Forks: A Twilight Symposium. No words can express how thrilled I am to be accepted. When I told my students, they were mixed with “Our teacher is cool” to “Our teacher is nuts” looks. Who knows? Maybe I am both!
